Small Hand Held Units

Assemblies too large for bench mounted welders and those hard-to-reach joint areas can be ultrasonically assembled with hand held spot welders. Compact and portable, these units can stake, insert and spot weld materials ranging in thickness from 1/32" (0.8mm) through 9/32" (7mm). They consist of an ultrasonic power supply and a lightweight hand gun. In operation, the operator simply applies the horn tip to the work surface and depresses the trigger switch on the gun’s housing.

Manually Operated Drill Presses

These small modified drill press stands readily accept the small lightweight handgun. This relieves the operator of some handling responsibility for straightness and depth, while still keeping the costs down. Larger models are also available for our ultrasonic KITS.

Large Hand Held Units

The H Series Hand Held Welders are also compact and portable. They are able to weld, stake, insert and spot weld materials especially those considered too big or too thick for the smaller unit. These units use welding horns rather than screw-in tips and therefore can cover larger areas. The units consist of an ultrasonic power supply, usually the continuous duty model for manual control, and the hand held converter. In operation, the operator simply applies the horn face or tip to the work surface and depresses the trigger switch on the handle. Ultrasonic energy is delivered until the trigger switch is released.
